You are! I am! We are! Like it or not, whether it fits in our life or not, we are all part of this plan, God’s plan for Friends Across The Water.

God bless you if you made it this far! I would ask that you seriously consider why you have been brought here today. Many others began this journey in the simple pages of this website but never came to this page. You have. God bless you as you continue to investigate The Call.

I personally know a great deal about Bob and Janice’s plans for the ministry here. With a great deal of respect I watched them and their ability to follow God without respect to carnal concerns. Janice wrote this on their website (unfortunately we don’t know where the website was hosted and therefore it is down) shortly before the accident:

Best and Worst

August 3, 2009 – 9:09 am | Janice

It is the best of times. It is the worst of times.

We have been blessed by God through His people. They provided us with housing, transportation, meals, finances, gifts, and prayers. Most of all we have cherished renewing friendships, building new relationships, and spending time with family members.

We sadly leave our home country and gladly return to the land God has called us to in the present – Guatemala. We eagerly anticipate returning to our Guatemalan friends and establishing new relationships.

It is both challenging and rewarding to serve God in a foreign country. Likewise it bittersweet to say “goodbye” and “hola.”

It is always an amazing blessing to be a part of a major work of God. He is doing great things here. We are so busy that we can hardly see straight and yet, at the same time, we are being sustained and blessed by the Lord. There is much darkness in this land and our enemy is not happy about what is going on here. Please pray for us, for our protection from Evil.

Pray about being a part of what the Lord is doing here. We could use more help – short term and long term. We could use more finances – short term and long term. We definitely could use more intercession.

Bob laid it out in March very clearly. Read that last paragraph again:

“Pray about being a part of what the Lord is doing here.. We could use more help-short term and long term. We could use more finances-short term and long term.  We definitely could use more intercession.”

Can you pray for this ministry? Can you come to Guatemala and help?  For a visit? To live?  Can you help financially?  I do not know who you are or whether God has placed The Call in your heart. But he knows who has been called. Maybe you do too. If not, please make this a matter of prayer.

You are special, one of the few allowed into the inner circle of Friends Across The Water. You have been invited to enter the promised land just like the children of Israel. Will you go? Or, like them will you develop reasons why you can’t, thereby wandering in the wilderness and barren of the joy and blessings God has for you?  Sorry about that, enough preaching.

Please make a comment below that can bless others before you go. Please sign the registration to receive updates about the ministry as God unfolds his plan.  And if you know that God has placed in your heart **** The Call To Serve in This Ministry **** please click this link.

God bless you for your time and willingness to listen. We are blessed by your presence.
